Desktop purchase terms

Purchase and licence

The Desktop price is US$69.99 once, before applicable taxes. One purchase licenses one teacher to use up to three activated computers. The licence is for the purchaser’s use and must not be shared, resold or redistributed. An internet connection is required to activate a computer; an activated copy supports indefinite offline use of core local features. Keep your recovery file/code private.

Optional providers

The app purchase does not include AI credits or a provider subscription. You supply your own API key and pay your provider’s usage bill. Google and AI features require internet, an eligible account and any school approval. Provider permissions, prices, models and availability can change. Review AI suggestions before saving grades. There is no student or parent portal.

Updates and compatibility

Future updates released for this Desktop product are included at no additional charge. This does not promise a release schedule or a specific future feature. Check the published platform requirements before buying. Portable copies do not bypass school application restrictions. Back up your workspace before updates, restores or computer/USB transfers.

Refund requests

Request a full refund of your app purchase within 14 days of purchase by emailing support with your receipt reference. Your Desktop licence ends when the purchase is refunded; stop using the app under that licence. Charges billed separately by your AI provider are not refunded by LUC. This policy does not limit rights required by applicable law.

Responsible use and support

You control the data you enter, share and back up, and are responsible for following your school’s rules. Contact support for purchase, activation and app issues. Never send a private key, recovery code or student records in ordinary support messages. No guaranteed support response time or availability commitment is offered. These terms apply to purchases of Level Up Classroom Desktop.
